Alternatively, you can open it using the Run command box by simultaneously pressing Windows and R keys together at the same time, type Devmgmt.msc in the box and then press Enter button to open Device Manager.

Step-2: Once the device manager is open on your desktop now here click on the  Imaging devices to expand it and then select the built-in or integrated camera entry. In some case, the integrated camera might have the name of your PC’s manufacturer.

Step-3: Now you have to right-click on the built-in camera entry and then from the menu click on the Disable option.

Step-4: Once you click on the disable button a new pop-up will open and here finally click on the Yes button for the confirmation prompt to disable the built-in camera.

Once you completed all the steps now your built-in camera will be disabled on your PC.

Steps to Enable the Disabled Camera

Step-1: Open the Device Manager for this click on the start menu search box type Device Manager and then press the Enter button on your keyboard.

Step-2: Now here click on the  Imaging devices to expand it and then select the built-in or integrated camera entry.

Step-3: Now you have to right-click on the built-in camera entry and then from the menu click on the Enable option.

Step-4: Finally click on the Yes button when you see the confirmation prompt to disable the built-in camera.

Once you completed all the steps now your built-in camera will be enabled on your PC.
